The talent was so great and the competition so intense, that it's taking Slash a bit longer than expected to make a decision. Slash has narrowed the field to the final bands and is nears his decision. We will announce it as soon as it is final.
Unsigned Bands: submissions and voting for Guitar Center's YOUR NEXT RECORD with SLASH have closed. Final judging is underway and soon Slash will be narrowing down the best of the best to the select the winning band. Expect an announcement soon and cross your fingers that your phone rings and it's Slash on the other end.
Guitar Center has teamed up with one of the greatest guitarists to ever walk the earth to present YOUR NEXT RECORD with SLASH, a groundbreaking unsigned band competition that will give one up and coming band the chance to win the ultimate career-altering opportunity: record a 3-song EP with the legendary producer behind Guns N' Roses - Mike Clink and have Slash write, record and perform on the winning artists' single.
Starting today, February 1st through April 30th bands across the U.S. are invited to submit their music at YourNextRecord.com for a chance to win one of the sweetest prize packages ever offered in rock.
